Transparent fees
The complete financial plan starts at $3500 + tax
Fees are determined based on the complexity of the mandate rather than the value of your assets.
As a guideline, a mandate for an individual or a salaried couple, or a case involving self-employment, generally starts at $3,500. An additional legal entity — professional corporation, operating company, trust, etc. — generally incurs additional fees starting at $1,000.

Financial planning: questions and answers!
Investments and finance
Have you created a budget? Is it a document you follow religiously? Do you have control over your spending? Are you saving enough? Do you have a sufficient emergency fund? How are your investments managed? Are you sufficiently diversified? Are you paying too much in management fees? Are you taking too much risk?
Family (legal) status
Common-law partners or married? What would happen if you died without a will? How does family patrimony work? What would happen in the event of a divorce? What are my obligations?
Tax situation (Taxes)
Should you incorporate? Should you pay yourself a salary or dividends? RRSP or TFSA? What are the tax implications of selling my business? Can I reduce my tax bill?
The state of the protections
What would happen if you became disabled and unable to work for 6 months, 1 year, or for life? What would happen upon your death or that of your partner? Would your descendants have enough financial resources? Would you leave your loved ones with significant debts?
The situation at death
What happens when I die? Who receives what? Does my will reflect my current wishes? Is there a significant tax bill in the year of my death? Is there enough liquid assets for my heirs? What's missing?
The retirement situation
Will I ever be able to retire? At what age will I achieve financial security? When might I consider changing my lifestyle? How will my business be passed on to the next generation? Should I wait or start claiming my government benefits (QPP, OAS) now?

Complete financial planning
The Financial Planner is a financial planner. No products are offered, and there are no sales or commissions. I only sell my time and expertise. I can provide you with a second opinion or guide you independently.
Evidence-based index investing
A very simple philosophy based on evidence:
Trying to predict the direction of the market is pointless
-To create and preserve wealth, one must be diversified
-We need to focus on the long term and not on short-term media noise.
Flexible billing
A simple bill based on your needs. Whether it's for a complete financial plan or answers to general questions, you only pay for the answers you need.
Life and disability insurance for professionals
Having sold personal insurance for 10 years, I can offer my opinion on your situation. I can provide you with keywords to look for in your contract or proposal. I can also discuss concepts and terms you should avoid using from your financial security advisor.
